This is a very well written spiritual poem you penned. You used very good descriptive words and lovely art work. Jesus is the Son and He is my sun also! Blessings, Teri

Thank you for you inspired review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. You made me smile when you said Jesus is your sun also.

I enjoyed the poem.
A few of the stanzas felt awkward. I believe you should consider how many syllables they have.
The images you evoke are great, and the attached visual is appropriate.
I would like to see more of your poems.

Thank you. I have written a few previous to this. I think there's a way to look up my works. There is one of my favorites called The Jogger's Friend. I'm glad you like my work.

interesting theme, the moon shining with the light of the sun and the true Christion shining with the light of the Son. Firm rhymes in the couplets. Excellent.

Lovely spiritual poem with a great message! What a great way to use a conversation with the Moon to derive a spiritual lesson that we all need to reflect God's Light as we cannot do anything on our own. Really well done!

Thank you for your inspiring review. I'm glad you appreciated it. I learn a lot about my relationship with God, myself & others. As we know Jesus used nature often to relate God's loving care for us.

This was a gorgeous reference to the prompt. I absolutely love everything about this piece. It's almost 3am where I am, I am up reading and looking for something I can relate to in this moment. That's exactly what this poem was for me.

Lunar chat and so intense....confessing your reverence! Son of God will intercept, help you...that's why "Jesus Wept"...for your pain and mine as well, saving sinners all from hell. Black and white as in the sky...poem that leaves me with a sigh.....

This is a very spiritual poem, but i kind of expected a horror one. This was very good though. The words flowed smoothly and swiftly. It had me caught in its drift until the last syllable.

This spiritual poem, Mystery of the Night, finds the moon helping lead a soul to the Son. These rhyming couplets allow that we can seek, through any means, the answers we need.
