I like what you did with this poem. Having the whale think is a very interesting idea and I think it works well. Thanks for sharing this and have a really great day

A very well-written free verse poem about your favorite story of Moby Dick and the adventures he had at sea until his dead and now living forth as a legend.

This is a really evocative piece for me, seeing as I do the entangled Mr Peck about to be taken into the deths by the white whale, apparently waving a farewell to the the surface world.
Should one review a work of literary art using scientific criteria? Possibly not but when Moby here speaks of not wavering,
"...to put gill or fin
to any aid..."
he is apparently forgetting that, as a sea mammal he has no gills but lungs like you and I or for that matter Ahab, though of considerably greater capacity. To be honest I am not sure about fins but I know that whales have flukes, and it is with these that Moby did great damage to the "hill and gully riders" in their longboats who were out to kill him.
Apart from the minor inaccuracy over the gill I thought this an excellent piece.

I like the thought process behind this poem. The words seem to explode from the depths of the poem and I liked the black waters of the background colours. Thank you for sharing.
