Summer's Gone

A sad but sweet poem about the passage of time. It's sad when we enter the Autumn of our lives, when everything aches and creaks. But it's even sadder when we see our pets grow older. They don't understand why they can't jump like they used to. Yes, it's sad when Summer is gone.

This speaks sadness comes in, truly summer has gone, poet has been suffering from pains, the dog does not feel as such, it has no sense of sadness properly; old aged dog somehow manages living there; I liked.

Thank you for sharing my poem Alcreator. Sadly, Leo did not see Christmas.

I lost my Border Collie at the ripe old age of sixteen this year. It was a sad time as it always has been each time one of my five previous dogs passed. But, within a month, the mailman came to our house with a purebred Manchester he found running in the street. Could not find owner...now I have a new love!
