At this point, no one is concern about the painting. For the moment, the group is bonding over dinner while discussing the dinner party scheduled under the support of Anderson the one who has forgotten about it.

Great work, once more. NO SPAGS! Charlie Lucas warned me I need to do refreshes before I read stuff as sometimes I pick up errors that have already been corrected, ho-hum. Keep the good story coming.

Good chapter-section. Moves along driven swiftly by dialog. fine characterization. Fine details too. Just a few comma nits related to coordinating conjunctions with independent clauses:
*
"No, we've already sent out invitations(,) and they've been accepted," Jane answered.
* I know your momma(,) and I know she raised you better than that."
*"I'll finish this(,) and then I need to go into the office for a few hours.
Love,

Trying not to let others one is worried about the unfinished business that is putting a damper on the up coming dinner so they make every effort to keep things running without any glitches

Anderson is not a man who plays games or try to seek the support of others. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

Poor old Anderson gets a little short with Helen, because she reminds him he has a special formal function being held on the Friday, he loathes and obviously hates these functions and says so. Philip points out the CPS has a good case against Patricia, well done Barbara, excellent episode, well done. Blessings, Roy
Suggestion "this waiting is getting old...fast!"

Excellent. You have me thinking about making a banana cream pie after reading this chapter. LOL. It is nicely done and the dialogue is handled in such a way as to make the story believable. Good work.
