G'day Geoff and Louise
"Seeing she hurt herself she was unable to transfer from the chair to bed or to the car, or in the bathroom." (That must have been scary for both of you.)
"Dear old Louise is dead weight and cannot assist anyone helping to lift her...they ceased coming." (A cruel policy.)
"They assessed her and agreed with the Doc's suggestion to take her to Hospital." (Our Yankee friends on here, among other, will growl about the "to hospital" because they always use "a" or "the" hospital. They did it to me through every childhood chapter, both in poetry and prose lol. I tried to tell them that Aussies say it that way... but oh, well.)
"Me: "Well, did you guys find our buried treasure while you were there?"(At our house.)
Paramedic:"Oh yeah! We invited some friends over to help clean out all the goodies!" (Hahahaha!)
"we ended up with a LIfting Device supplied in our home" (I was going to suggest that... but you got one, good stuff.)
"May 10th: Another small load of washing went out, in the freezing cold." (I forget what cold feels like.)
"Finally down to the Multi_Level(Multi-Level) car park"
It's been a hard road, of late, for you two and you are both in our Prayers.
Thanks for the update, mate and say G'day to Louise for us, here.
Cheers Fez

Thanks good friend. Good reading your story again, I hesitated to say enjoying as I know it was hard.

What an incredible story and a tribute of love and devotion to a person with incredible needs. I know what it's like to soldier on because you don't want people to take over the care of a loved one. However when it happens it's amazing how it frees us up to love rather than to care for single handedly. Well written.

Thank you for sharing your story with the fanstory community. Sometimes people do not realize the problems we face when we have a loved one in need of special care. I do realize because I went through a lot with my husband a few years ago. Since then I have also been ill enough to require special care. Bless you for being there for your loved one and what you have gone through. Story wise this was well written and I saw no need for correction. HUGS.....

Sorry Linda so sad we are only just meeting. Once I get through these later insertions I may put up the complete biography on a full book promotion. Been at it for ages.

A very well-written sad and heartfelt story. I am sorry Louise was taken up in hospital and have to suffer all that happened. It is also hard on the partner that is not in hospital to cope with the daily tasks while the other is in hospital.
