Not much happens this time... but you have escaped. I was waiting to see why there was so much traffic, so many people out on their way to____?
You have to eat soon. How will you manage that, I wonder?

I will get to that ... and what occurred when I did, or should I more correctly state when I attempted to eat?
However, that is another chapter or two away.
Glad you are enjoying my autobiography.
Appreciate you taking the time to read it and to write reviews.

I think my wife and I have adopted many strays,, including animals, they seemed drawn to us somehow. We took in three tanagers and got them through till the met their eventual future, they were homeless at the time, not as yet in an institution, but somehow I would rather fill a need nobody else would, than see them discarded. So not everybody feels like, we were raising two natural daughters at the time. But well done, I think your story needs to be heard, ALL children and pets, need to belong, and deserve to what's more, well done, good reading Brett, blessings, Roy
Typo : I had to make (due). Do? Milling about it (donned). Dawned?

Hi Brett; I think this story is flowing well. You are doing a good job of showing us the emotions and emptiness of your life back then. Comparing your situation and the adoption system was well compared to the Humane Societies and shelters for abandoned and neglected animals.
Thank you for sharing and I will look for the next part,

A very well-written chapter about rejection. It feels bad when an unwanted dog is rejected by strangers because of their own misjudging reasons. When your own family rejects you for no reason at all is much worse.
