I must be a little slow or not paying very good attention. Floating along on a cloud, sipping on a glass of wine, enjoying a little afternoon kickback, and just happening to notice you and the Hitcher are flipping back and forth. "It's all good!" :-)

Ouch. Too bad for pa. He was a bastard anyway. I'm sure he won't be missed. Some men are like this. Your poem tells exactly what they deserve.

Anda, Gitana, this is fantastic. I absolutely love it. I'm learning all the time. There is so much more to Japanese poetry that I could even think of. Un abrazo de tu amiga Ulla:)))

Hi, Gypsy. Geez, I haven't heard or seen anything by Hitcher in ages. Has he been active very long? Anyway, Ilove your idea and if I ever finishwith my book (very soon) I will start to contribute. Good job. Blessings, Bob

I like this!
In just three lines, you've managed to pen something great. This could be turned into a whole book and go on to be a movie.
Short but it gives the reader something to think about. I imagine the father was abusing them physically. Now, did the mother and father eat the supper? Was it a murder-suicide?
The artwork is good. The image shown fits the poem perfectly. The background goes well with the art.
Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with your future writing.

Yes, it was a murder-suicide. She could not live with the truth. The children found her dead and hid her. They are waiting for dad to get home and eat the stew. I appreciate your review and kind words. It's always good to hear from reviewers like you.

I like the theme, a hatred I have for social violence and although I think it's
"A solution" to the ongoing problem, poison them! Excellent work, Gypsy, great revelation, I like the thinking, well done, blessings, Roy
