Yep, I know how you feel, Gypsy. I feel like this when I get out into the huge Rocky Mountains or the Pacific Ocean. We certainly do understand our very small size in overall picture of a bigger planet.
Excellent and a new form to me, so many thanks for sharing.

LOL - I am not sure how essential we are but I sure like being here. This is a good one, my friend. I like the insight in this and you wording is really mystical and meaningful

Smiles Gypsy leave it up to you,you come up with haiku and senyru that are of different styles
to answer you question

Hi Gypsy, A lovely senyru that allows us to be part of the great universe and although minuscule in the scheme of expanse we are essential to each other existence. A great reflection of a moment in time. cheers Christineð???ð???

My little granddaughter asked the other day, she said, "I'm good at school but sometimes not with mummy...why?" I don't think I could have answered her in a way she understood, aren't children wonderful? Great haiku, Gypsy, I don't know if a childless person may understand, well done, blessings, Roy

It sort of how I feel when I go to the ocean as well but I become one of those minuscule souls that venture out and surf in it. Loving the photo it reminds me of a poem I posted a while back called "with the will to fly". Thankyou for sharing Gypsy.

Of course the basis for the primary corollary in the reader's mind is the human "mother/child" relationship. Without that mindset, could we likely take the creative leap to envision the larger relationships that exist between the smaller and the larger (to which the former is totally dependent)? Thanks to your hint, we have the power and beauteous enormity of the ocean, at the shore of which gazes the minuscule human. Same with mountains; same with thunder; indeed the universe.
This shows the poetic form at it's most eloquent. Thanks, Gypsy, for sharing it.

Nice to see you in my message box this morning friend, I loved your little senryu and know how much you love the ocean. It has the ability to cause us to pause and ponder our place in the universe and our place on this planet. Very Nice!

I have learned something s I did not know that a senryru is something miniscule and a sketch from life. You have done a perfect job with a beautiful and religious description of a small creature. beautifully done.

Thank you very much, my friend, I appreciate your excellent review and kind words. :) A senryu is a haiku about human nature and without a kigo (season word).
