Every FS poet seems to have a story. Luna came to my attention recently, posting her work furiously. Did she know she had such a short time to get her words out? At times I sense the depth of the feeling, and feel unworthy to review and criticize
works with heart's blood on them. Fanstory is a cheap and harmless hobby to me.
To others it seems to mean a great deal more. My plan is "Five or skip." This is an excellent tribute to Luna.

I am devastated by this news. Luna and I were fans of each others work. We reviewed and spoke often. She was a great writer and friend. I do not know what to say right now other than that I will sorely miss her. The only good thing to come out of this loss is as you wrote

and as you reached St. Peter's gate,

with joy and jubilation,
for your Mickey met his mom."
I am glad they are united.

I would always review Jeni's poems. I am very sad to learn through your poem that she has passed on. I was having some medical problems that a times diverted my attention and had not fully realized what had happened. Now she is reunited with her son Mickey and I will pray that they will frolicking with the Angels above. This is a wonderful tribute to her, Dawn,,,,,,Jim

My heart bleeds as I read your beautifully-written poem. You truly graced her memory with your elegant words. Until now, I had no idea that Luna passed away. I am hurting.
I did not know Luna as well as you did; however, we communicated by reviews and replies. We spoke about being luna children because we were born in July; we spoke about the addictions of her son and daughter; and of course, we spoke of her tragic loss of her son.
I told her that I had written a poem about addiction years ago, and she wanted to
read it. I told her that I was going to post it one day FanStory, but I never did. Now, she will never read it.
I was just thinking about her yesterday, and I was going to send a message because I noticed she had not been on the site lately.
Well, she is with Micky now....

She took a fall. She went to the hospital to be checked for a concussion and they admitted her with pneumonia. We spoke while she was there - twice. The second time the doctor told her she shouldn't be on the phone, to save her strength. It was the last I talked to her...
