I'm seeing a lot of triolets lately, but never have tried one. I like this one, in which your repeating line helps feels natural - not forced. I found the third line sort of odd - the writer has suddenly appeared in the poem and then disappeared. Oh wait, no, the meter changes. Could you say, "You'll need some tissue for your eye"? Overall, though, it's a moving poem, and a good point in that it is "safe to cry when it's goodbye". I would...

This is a beautifully penned Triolet. The rules of form are adhered to nicely and the content is both moving and inspiring. You offer a measure of hope within despair for tears will always help to refresh the weary heart and spirit. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

This triolet, It's Safe To Cry, has the proper set up and reminds us that true emotions always outweigh a stoic false bravado which lessens the impact of separation. We like to know that we're missed and needed.
