Excellent. This story keeps getting better and better. I hope they make good on their escape. I will be waiting anxiously for the next chapter in this writing. Great work.

I don't think I would want to offend either one. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

Thank you so much. Yeah, they are both pretty tough... so it is with the young...
Take care,

Another fine chapter, Rhonda--and edge-of-your-seat, spine-tingling suspense--oh wait, that's the electric football game I left on my chair, and am sitting on--spine-tingling story anyway!

You are so incredibly funny, my friend!! You always lift my spirits!
Rhonda

Thanks, Rhonda--do you think you can say that to my mom and dad? They aren't convinced!
-
Parents are often our biggest critics. Ask mine, they'll tell you!!
-
No, actually, my mom and I share the same sense of humor. Speaking of funny, that's what I was attempting, without a net or safety harness of any kind! When in doubt, make fun of yourself or your family, like I told someone once, what am I going to do, kick my own ass? (I could take me, I'm a wuss!)
-
That is sooo funny, and a point well taken!

Thanks, Rhonda!

I'm so intrigued! Hufacs - humans for advanced civilizations. Based on animals!
Now I'll pop over to Amazon and find you. Based on the summary provided, you've built such an interesting world.
I have only one nit: "He promises they won't harm the nasty sheep, but will drive them through a gate he's going to leave open and right into town." The present tense verb seems inconsistent with the rest of the piece.
