I love this story of Emily trying to find Bob. Bless her little heart, she found him. I can tell your father was a wonderful man, much to be admired.

My mother worked two jobs to keep me in Catholic schools. Dedicated parents, weren't they?

I worked as a funeral director for several years, and have seen some very unusual sights. In your author's notes, you said some were remember good and funny times, and were having a laugh. I think that's the way it should be. A celebration of life.

One service I remember in particular. I was driving the family limousine. They were telling funny stories about the deceased and had me laughing, too. My colleagues said they could hear the laughter before we rounded the corner.

I'm sure your father enjoyed the antics of that day. 8-)

Hi Yvonne, and thank you so much for saving my tired eyes! I appreciate your nit catches...all of them have been corrected. You are wonderful. Yes, they were very dedicated to family and community, and they were great examples for their children. That is a great sharing of your experience with a family. That's how I want to be remembered. Laughter, not tears, but save the F-bombs!!! HAHAHA
