I have to admit, I never read poetry, I have less than no interest in it.
I only read this because I clicked on it by mistake.
That said, I'd skimmed the first verse and it grabbed me. For the first time ever, I wanted to finish reading a poem.
I really don't know how to critique poetry, but I just wanted to say how much this piece moved me, but I don't know why. I'll be reading it a few times more.
That is probably what good poetry is all about; thought provoking.
As it has made such an impression on me, the rating I've given reflects that.

Your words flowed well line to line combing and forming a unique rhythm of their own, /they combined and sent the message of the poem to the reader. the artwork and background color you chose completed the piece well.

you know how I hold honor and loyalty close to me.
I'll always love you too.
I know you love me even when when I cant be all you need.
once someone said to me...God is watching you....but she didn't have to...I know. I remember us talking one evening about your husband....how you felt so bad for leaving the day he died. then how later going through his things you found this photograph of you....the one he tore up in a fit of anger....tapped back together. he carried with him all that time. ...-smile-....I saw how much you love that man. and I understood. I swore before God ....I cant swear again until I know this love dead and I'm unable to resurrect it. I dont know how Linda....-smile-.....you can have this if you want. love Michael

of cause I do...it's beautiful...I think Michael we all have that one true love that never dies...I don't think it is suppose to...alive or dead...it's a part of your life God gave to you...I know Bobby will always be there...the same as Chau...your never going to forget...but like Bobby...you have to find a place for her in your heart...forgive...you will always have her memories...I know that...just find a special place for her...your never going to make that love dead...your not suppose to...and that's ok...someday...you still have a life...I will always love you as well Michael...thank you for the poem...love Linda xxoo
