I often wonder about people who say "Now, don't you tell a soul ..." I wonder how many other folks they might have said that to before approaching me. And yep, trying to remember who you told it to and who you didn't can be a self-imposed trap.
Interesting read ... and happens much more often than we might suspect. Enjoyed this little piece for pondering!

= Makes you wonder what their real motive is.

Yes, this is often the case when someone shares a so called confidence with you, probably about somebody else's discomfort, watch out when someone says, psst, don't tell anyone but. I think you're right Geoff, well

A very well-written short story. I usually stop listening when someone tells me something when they say "don't tell anyone!" Not because I want to tell, but there is no reason for me to carry their burden.

Thanks old mate. Should get the MIkeu by Krikey poem out again but I am not sure how many of the old crowd that remember you are still around. Finally getting back to some writing. Been depressed still over Tom and some of his antics. Nothing new. probably other things depressing as well. Regs to Donna.
