I enjoyed your story. You did a great job with the focus.
I am left-handed and have been all of my life. Yes, there are things that are difficult, but I would never change. I know ones brain is 'wired' to respond to a person whether right or left handed. Trying to change does cause problems for most.
I would not make the words 'right' or .'left' start with a capital letter in the middle of a sentence [only if they start the sentence.].
Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

A good composition on left handed people. My mother and son were both born that way, but forced by society to be ambidextrous. For my mother, it's worked out fine. When she gets tired of writing with one hand, she switches to the other. For my son, it gave him a terrible stutter, which he still has as a man when he's tired or upset.
Point is, you've brought up a subject many can relate to, and you've done it in an easy and fun read.
Great job,
Rhonda

Thanks Sis appreciate you coming by. We only just watched King's Speech again last night and it certainly reinforces the awful results of abuse on one...even forcing one to write with another hand is abuse too. But of course King George Vi exemplified all that comes out from that abuse and forcing togo against nature.

When I first started to school my teacher tried to make me write with my right hand, and God bless my mother she went to the school and told the teacher to let me along as I was left-handed. I too can write my name forward and backwards at the same time. I only do fine motor skills left handed, all other things I do right handed.

An excellent write on left handed people. My brother was left handed and got teased about it all the time. having broken my right arm twice in my life, I have learned to use the left hand far better than ever including writing.
I don't know or understand all the stigma about it. Thanks for the share and have a great day.

Thanks, William appreciate your wonderful review. Seems like I can pick the issues and topics sometimes. I mean it was a personal one for me too except I was left alone as a left-hander. I do knife and fork right handed. Spoon left, Played sport right handed in the old days.

Watched the movie of "The King's Speech" on DVD. It was a great movie. It shows you don't have to have a lot of action and special effects to have an excellent production. I was left-handed, too, but no one tried to change me. Eating at a crowded table can be a bit uncomfortable, unless you are sitting next to another lefty. I do a few things with my right hand, such as using scissors. Don't know why that is. If you didn't have people trying to force you to write with your right hand, that's fortunate. Well stated and interesting. judi

Thanks Sis appreciate your review. We all knew the Queen Mum did a lot of the speaking for King George VI but we never knew the whole issue with the abuse and so on and the other brother we never knew about either the epileptic. I played sport right handed and knife and fork right handed spoon left.

Hi Abby (a lady I presume) always nice to meet a new FS'er or one I have not read before. OI will attempt to get to your stuff. I have been busy on here lately after a terrible time of writer's block mainly due to depression and stuff. But we move on! THanks for taking the time to come by. God Bless.
