Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

''Pursuasion, breathless, oxygen''

That is passion rolled into one. As usual, love the cryptic style. You have made it your own and I always love to read as I know I am in for thought.

Expressive with imagery in abundance, my friend. Special as it is imagery full.
You have my six stars. I am away at the moment trying to move into new flat after a year in the wilderness, so will piriodically come into review. Good to see your work.
Best wishes,
RG

Great poem. Its sexy, fun and I love the way you put the pictures and music in place. The words you use are fluid and the descriptions are perfect. Good job!

I think you used the most beautiful words imaginable in this poem. I'm not a poem person, so is this why I don't understand what you are saying?

I would like to know if this is just a casual liaison as your "Spartacus" reference seems to allude to. Or a true love.

I read it three times, but still the end confused me. What are we talking about "mind control" for, when making love?

I understand that one must decipher for themselves a poem's meaning, so maybe I'm not experienced enough to do that. So I apologize. But you used the most beautiful words I could imagine.

I hope I wasn't too hard on you. I just really don't get poems, I guess. So put it on me, not you.

Lovely flow to this beautiful poem you have written. It also is packed with great imagery through your chosen words. Intelligent and romantically stimulating work. I love this song/video that you used in your presentation...nice compliment to the piece. Thoroughly enjoyed the read...thank you for the dance! lol...God bless and hugs, Susanne

This is quite a piece of work and I re-read it quite a few times. It has the ebb and flow of the dance you used. The words infected the mind with passion. The ending is very powerful.

Lots of tantalizing phraseology in this poetic, Michael. Your use of verbal imagery to let us see the setting sun through the eyes of the dancers is vivid.

Great alliterations on the 's' sounds with your opening line and again in stanza 3 with 'o' sounds.

Nice internal rhyme of swallowed and follows

Nice word-play with 'mind control'
If you don't mind CONTROL
if you don't MIND control.

Just a wee nit on the possessives you use:

teases temptations [temptation's]
this tangos [tango's]

Rose.

This was a good read for me with an appropriate tilte ...and not at all boring... and like the clever words that you chose in the last line, along with the animated picture and the video which adds greatly to your poetry...And, too, somewhat envious of those authors who have succeeded, like yourself..& others here that have managed to give their poetry an extra appeal this way...Need to get schooled on doing this.

There is something very sensual about dances like the tango. Your thrilling scenario set up by your exciting wordplay set the scene and create the mood in a very convincing way. I am a big fan of the ABC show Dancing With the Stars and I cannot believe that there are not more hookups resulting from the increased intimacy induced by some of the dances that do. This is a very good post. I enjoyed it very much.

This is a great poem and full of powerful lines. I found some parts difficult to read. I think that's just me some the words you used I don't read them every day.

I still found this an enjoyable read.

Happy birthday!

Lynn
