A well-written poem in anticipation for baby Horton to be born. The unborn baby already heard the voice of mommy, daddy and granny, can't wait to hold that bundle in her arms.

I love this! I'm a grandma too, so this is precious to me. I like how you use rhyme, rhythm, and description to help us hear who your baby, Horton, hears. It is really sweet. Good luck on your grandparent poem contest entry. This is well done.
Thank you for sharing.

Best wishes for a win ... this is an absolutely wonderful poem.
It raises high the banner of humanity.
It praises the God in whose image we are made.
It gives credence to the life that is so precious inside the womb.
A grandchild is indeed a gift from God...
Nicely done,
:-) Carolyn

Hi,
"Baby Horton Hears Who" is an excellent celebration of the birth of a child. The alliteration works. The rhyme is simple and good. The poetic flow is excellent. The theme of different things a new born hears is carried through creatively." Love songs rock that baby boy" is a fresh metaphor. Good luck in the contest.
Your friend and colleague.

This is a very good entry into the "You're having a grand child" contest. Enjoyed the humor and the implied reference to Dr. Suess' rhymes. I live very near (about 2 miles) from Dr. Suess' home on Mulberry Street. Nice rhythm and rhyme and great content. Wish you luck in the contest. God bless and hugs, Susanne

Nice poem about a bundle about to arrive. Good rhyme good meter, word pictures are pleasant and cozy. All in all a very well done poem. I know what a joy it is both as a mother and a grandma to have the baby on the way.

Nicely done with your own experience that you will have to pen it as a poem. Three stanzas easy to read and follow. The rhyming of abab is always enjoyable to read. Congratulations. Best.

Awww, how very sweet, and moving!
You can just picture Mama, Daddy, and Nana, waiting for the grandbaby to appear.
It is a long wait, and so very worth it.
Well done,
Rhonda
