A wonderful story, so beautifully and artfully told. I waited with anticipation to see where the children would go and what they would find. My favorite part was this:
A tear rolled down her cheek, then fell
upon the witch and broke her spell,
for witches cannot deal with tears
If splashed with one, their spell it clears.
So well written

That was so enthralling. I was hooked from beginning to end, I love the rhyming and meter. It jusy flowed off the toungue. A really great read and a fantastic story.

A great story, great imagination to get witches involved from a picture of a gate. I think children would love this. The rhyme and rhythm add to that too. Great read thanks for sharing.

Hi Douglas, I am really thrilled with your honour of a six for this tale. I had fun creating my Witchy story and so glad you like the flow and story. I am looking forward to reading everyone elses too. Imagination is a great thing and having these challenges are fun to do . I jus saw my brother and me back in our childhood days roaming all around our farm so this was a bit based on us and I wondered what we would do if we came across this gate. Thanks for this great picture Chrissy. It took me back into a serious mode after a week of silliness so I am really greatful. I did like this almost Hansel and Gretel story but a little bit of tearful creativity managed to extricate your pair from your witch's clutches.

Thanks Pantygynt. Glad you liked the picture and my story Alway try for a bit of imagination and the witch just appeared so I kept going I 'll be wary of gates from now on Ha Ha. Looking forward to read the others Cheers Christine 😀
