A very nice poem-with great images. Your words are well chosen. The artwork was great for the theme of the poem.

Funny! How painful it must be passing those pits. Good use of alliteration all the way through this poem. Very witty and a real tounge twister.

My granddaughter would love this poem because she recently saw a sloth in Costa Rica, and she loves words that start with the same letter. Purely fun poems are what keep children reading. Nicely done.

Rich in alliteration and imagery, this made me smile...
it starts with this adorable face
and then, of course, you follow through with one of my
favorite poetic devices... alliteration!
Well done and great luck in the contest, my dear! ;)

This is great! Makes me think of that sibilant(sp.) sound the sloth makes in the Ice Age movies.
It also makes a great tongue twister. 8-)
Photo is precious.

Well, never let it be said that, despite his pain, Seth sloth isn't smart, stealthy and slightly stingy. But what painful pit plucker worth his weight in peaches isn't, when you get right down to it?
Obviously, this witty 5-7-5 animal entry is an alliteration lover's wet dream, if you'll excuse the prurient pun.
Best of luck to you in the contest.

This is so very neat. When the picture popped up I thought he or she was looking me straight in the eyes like I was there. This is amazing and so much fun. Bravo..
