Hi, debi. Sorry I have missed so much of your writing. I have been down with pneumonia and just returned from hospital a few days ago. I am coming backa a little at a time.
Great poetry here, my friend:
"My gospel conquers misery
and makes a joyful heart instead.
Receive this gift of charity,
accept from me the broken bread."
Very well stated poetically, debi.
Bravo! Bob

Hi Bob,
I am so sorry to hear you have been in the hospital and are not feeling well. I have dropped by your page a couple times because you mentioned you were going to be writing another novel, a family saga I think you said. That must be why I don't see anything new.
As far as missing my writing, I haven't posted much. I am not even ranked yet, so l've posted less than six times so far this year. January and February are very busy months at work so I may write, but I don't post much because I don't know when I will have time to respond to reviews. See how long this one took? I hate not being prompt.
Thank you for the kind comments about the writing and for pointing out what you liked. I appreciate your encouragement.
I hope you feel well soon. I look forward to seeing more of your writing.
God bless.

I knew this type of poetic form had a name, but I simply couldn't recall what it was. So thank you for the inclusion of it in your author's notes, Debi.
That you too for the lovely, uplifting spiritual verse you've written and shared her with us, for all to enjoy.
Well done...

Hi debi - this is a beautiful Rondeau Redouble. Your words are very lovely. The repeated lines fall seamlessly into place and do not sound at all contrived to meet the requirements of this poetry form. A lovely read with a very lovely picture. Well done - Regards Dorothy

Beautiful poem about you belong to me. Very true that if we listen to god's word, and truly believe we shall have life, and have it more abundantly. This is truly a good poem to read, and live by.

A beautifully well written poem that expresses what Jesus was all about. The picture accompanied this poem as if it was met to be. The rhyming is superb.
This work has the anointing.

Okay. That doesn't look all that difficult after I studied it for a minute. The trick is to be inspired and it seems you were. What a picture! You wrote a wonderful poem too Debi. Well done . Nancy

Hi Nancy,
I bet you could whip up a poem in this form in no time at all. I have to agree that the picture is amazing. I was disappointed that the artist's name was not available. Thank you so much for the lovely comments about the poem. I appreciate you dropping in to read and review.

A beautifully written and expressed
poem of faith in the Rondeau Redouble
Excellent exact rhymes and very fine meter
as the poem reads very smoothly,
And the repeats work in very well
The Stained Glass window art work
is a perfect match and the presentation
has a subtle touch
"So seek for truth; it sets you free"
Very nicely done
