I do feel that I am the one person who never found their soulmate. Sad ~sigh~
I lead with my heart. That leaves me open to heartache.

Interesting format for your acrostic poem 'Heart Song for Love.' It tells the tale clearly.

And it might not be what the romantics recommend, but there is a little warning message in there too - give your heart and your self away totally and there is a chance of devastation.

Wonderful acrostic, Missy. The lines are all making sense and fit with first words as it should be. The only thing I would question is the last word "right?" All the rest is a love story being told or lesson to be learned all of a sudden you pull the reader in with a request for agreement with "right" (just doesn't ring the same to me.) Hi, sweetie, yes we can move on, but only if we save some of ourselves. It is easier then. It is when the love is all consuming and then gone, that sometimes we see suicides.

Love is very tricky.
