Lol love the last line. I work as a florist twice a year Valentines and for mothers day with one of my friends. Bloody fingers are a given, at least for me. The picture is beautiful and goes great with your poem.

Your haiku was exquisite. I have written more than 700 haikus and can appreciate yours.
Your haiku tells us in 17 syllables what life is about: the beautiful and the reality at times of being hurt.

You've written a very fine 5-7-5 haiku.
It has all the technical elements, syllable count, connected lines, seasonal reference
concrete images, satori reflective line
What separates it is the excellent turn in line three, the unmentioned thorn
The reader can move to human relationships if they choose.
Gorgeous photograph and overall presentation, the eye of an artist
Very well done
