Very few words and a picture say a lot. Could not believe my eyes, then again I cannot believe my eyes when I look in the mirror at myself some morning. Excellent job and enjoyed the senryu. Blessings Portia

Fortunately, we don't see our true self in the mirror since we immediately become self-conscious about our appearance (I read that somewhere!)

So sad after all the main roles he played. Ageing is something which can not be fought. There are ways to improve it but that's about it. Good imagery and very original.

Ah, I see you fairly new and haven't posted anything. You have a beautiful head of thick white hair. That's a gift at any age.
I couldn't believe that Pierce let himself go like that. At least, he could have watched his diet and exercised more. Easy to say, I know.

Thanks for the compliment about my hair .I think he let himself go after his wife died. I don't you know if he remarried. Nice to meet you.

Thank you for the wonderful review, lala. I love words too, especially the multi-syllable ones. I love your name. It's quite musical.

Yeah, thin hair and thick flab.

Getting old is the same for all of us.

The difference: he has a rich catalog of memories. And if I'm not mistaken, that's a yacht he's on.

Ah, me. The mortgage bill just came in today.

I don't know, Jay. I think I'd trade in the yacht to get that body and hair back.

Unfortunately, youth doesn't stay. It is fishy to me that almost all the male anchors have hair, and I wonder how much of it is their own. Sometimes those character roles are pretty great, so looks aren't always required. Great last line in this--painful age fight. How we do fight it! judi

Thanks for mentioning the satori line. It would be a challenge to go from James Bond to a grumpy old man. We fight it with attitude and botox. :-)
