This is a beautiful and heartfelt sonnet with good adherence to iambic pentameter and solid rhymes. You have used enjambment masterfully.

But please tell me, by PM if you deem it more appropriate, what is the matter with dear Brooke.
I have been away for a while and am unaware. This is the second piece I read tonight for her. I went to her page but saw nothing. I would so appreciate it.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing (and of course for the much appreciated sixer Lena). It's no secret I'm afraid - you'll find all the news on the forum page, under "General". Our beloved Brooke has been diagnosed with a fast progressing form of M.S. I only just came back to the site a couple of weeks ago, too, and was wondering where Brooke's work was. Then, unfortunately, I found out.
