The impact that someone unknown can have on us just through a news story is amazing. This is wonderful poem you honoring those who have died by the storms of the seas.

A haunting aspect in this poem that captures the sadness and tragedy of the Fukushima Tsunami event. I believe the 5-3-5 format is called a Luna. I was intrigued here by you juxtapositions throughout: could have/ could not, you drowned/I live. The 4-4-8-8 stanzas too were very effective. Lots of feeling well conveyed.

Thank you so much for this detailed review. You have it all there. I thought the Luna was 3-5-3. Not that it matters - a rose by any other name etc.
