This is great advice from three astounding women who are astute, sensible critics. I love the interplay between the advice they give, how they reinforce or contrast one another. I wish you success on your advice column.

Thank you so very much, it has been fun.

This is no joke. You three are dealing well with some heavy duty situations. I can only hope that they take your very sound advice. Good job! Why change your format?

human sources says, deal with it? Isn't that why the folks in human resources have jobs? to deal with it? LOL
good common sense advice from the cynic, and advice that is practical. The writer should actually do as she advises.
librarian - wise advice and insightful observations also
hooker - also a good reply
the rape question - you are all on target there too
the priest in the homophobic situation is one piece of work - start by leaving that parish church to begin with
I do hope for all involved that this works out
you've tackled some challenging questions and tackled them well - you're all articulate, logical and compassionate :-) Brooke

Thank you so very much. This has been fun and now we are hoping to take it public...who knows, it just might work.

Very interesting today. So many troubled people here. I'm so sorry you're stopping. This is such a good idea, I have to ask why? Was it just to practice? Or to have a column to send to publishers of papers and mags?

We thought FS would be a good testing ground for this project. It also helps to have a sample to send out to the papers and magazines.

Good luck with the forward progression of your column. I do believe it will gain a regular readership when published. I felt there was a bit more diversity in these answers today than in some of the earlier columns. Those differences are what makes it more interesting than just one opinion.

I agree, I like the diversity in responses to. The world is made up of so many different people with different backgrounds and having three opinions has a better chance of reaching a larger group.
Comment from Belinda
Not because you are 'the hooker', but I think her answers are straight to the point ones and down to earth. Of course I value the librarian's and the cynic's answers as well. I think the three combined, is the best!

Another excellent issue. This has reached a point now where it is compelling reading with serious issues. It's a cut above most columns of this nature normally dealing with more trivial matters. These questions will stick with me and I'll be thinking about them for some time to come. I have the feeling that each posting is hitting home with many, many readers. I had high hopes for this project, you've far exceeded them. mikey

Thank you so very much. I was thrilled with Ingrid (Spiritual Echo) asked if I wanted to participate. It has been fun and also a challenge. Now, to see if we can market it.
Comment from Joan E.
I continue to be impressed by the range of good advice--you three do a good job of not repeating one another. I am glad you are continuing this project for another week's column. Cheers- Joan

Next week will be the last one and will be primarily questions asked by you, the FS members that may want to know more about us and what motivated us to do this project.
-
The panel format sounds like a good way to wrap up the project. Best wishes- Joan

I've really enjoyed this series. I'm sorry to see it end. I find it interesting that women with very different experiences actually come across with the same wisdom.

We have had some minor differences, but nothing we couldn't work out. I am so pleased you have enjoyed this. I have enjoyed participating in it too.

Once again, IMO, you prove the value of this column here - whether or not these letters are fiction, I believe there are some who would turn to you for advice for real, and I am sorry you plan on closing it down on FS.
The wide variety of subject matter alone is thought-provoking, but having three differing opinions gives EVERYONE a chance to examine their own perspectives on certain topics.
One nit - this comma isn't needed: "...he has caused nothing(,) but trouble..."
I hope you reconsider whether or not to publish here (even if it isn't weekly - monthly maybe)? I'll be sad to see this column go for a variety of reasons.

We are currently thinking about an occasional column. I'll keep you posted on what we decide.
