Nice written poem about severe weather. I have been in some severe weather and that can be a frightening thing if one has to be out in it. One time when I lived close to the ocean in northern California there was a storm with winds clocked at about 90 miles and hour, I was in the living room and I could literally see the picture window moving. That was scary. I am glad you got out of the storm safely. Patricia

Yes, bad weather can be very frightening and conditions can change so quickly.
Everything about large storms is frightening including gale force winds which you mention.
More storms are forecast so... we'll see.
