Geoff I have you by a few years and for several of those years I was around second hand smoke from siblings and in-laws. I moved away from second hand smoke in 1988. I'm still feeling the effect of it. Your warning is justifiable. Keep up the good work. Charlie

Thanks mate. I do wonder if I should have had some testing for as you referred to is 'second hand' smoke...also known as the 'passive smoker' syndrome. I have had respiratory problems all my life as ou would have read in my book and I bet the passive smoking has not helped in my early years. I did have a little time of smoking to be cool as a teen but not on a regular basis. Thanks for the great review.

Sooo true. I'm so glad I never took to this habit. My lungs refuse to breath anything but air. I've know people with lung cancer, mouth cancer, and skin cancer from smoking, but didn't know that bladder cancer was an after blessing as well. Sadly, it does little good to try to scare a person who is addicted to anything...they block it all out.

Yeah right on blocking another friend has a chain smoking wife who doesnot even want to associate with Non Smokers go figure he has warned her but as I quoted and he agreed she says "It won't happen to me!" A Mental health nurse too ha. Thanks for the great review.

A great thing to warn people of this noxious form of addiction, I think I've been spared, because of God's grace, He actually told me two days before baptism to cease all addiction, I was an alcoholic, smoker and compulsive gambler, they were all left in the baptismal waters hallelujahs! Great piece bro, peace and goodwill, blessings, Roy.

Hi,
Smoking certainly plays havoc with one's body. I probably didn't smoke a pack my whole life. I got very sick when I got preggers. After that... yuk!!

I am so glad you never smoked have heard of the horrors of pregnancy in many cases. Sadly we never had kids. I could not provide the necessary sperm. Thanks for the review.

Amen to that, Geoff! They used to have an ad on TV of an older woman talking about the dangers of smoking, and as she talks she puts her cigarette in the hole in her neck and sucks in the smoke.
I smoked for about 40 years before giving it up. Had cancer 5 times, though the doctors tell me none of them were caused by smoking. Still smoking certainly hasn't added years to my life.

Yeah well mate I hope you don't get Bladder cancer still. The friend is approachjing 80 and had his bladder scraped a coupkle of times already. I did not go into that details. Looks like you got the last base Certificate FS says I can't afford any more ha I have heaps of member dollars!

When you are young you think smoking is cool. I stopped 10 years ago and I am glad I did. I lost my father to lung cancer and didn't want to go through the same thing. Thanks for sharing these wise words.
