This is a very interesting piece of work that the author has created with this post. Life is just full of troubles and I know that all too well.

Hi new friend you are so right. I have planned if they get it sported to suggest I just go pay the $AUD80.00 whenever it is needed for the tag to draw from in Cash. Most of our toll roads s=don't have real people you can pay the tolls to as I said all automatic.

So sorry to hear about your troubles with your insurance companies and the E-tab account. Totally frustrating! Trouble usually runs in three's so fingers crossed there are no more for you! Thank you for sharing this well written story, and good luck resolving everything. :-)

Trying to deal with insurance companies is an ordeal. Glad you got your problem straightened out. I suppose they have something similar to the E-tags in the U.S. but we don't use toll roads regularly, so I wouldn't know. It is an inconvenience when you have to go personally to get the matter straightened out. If you have hearing problems, that must make taking care of such matters even more difficult. When I try to deal with a situation on the phone, so many times I get an operator who has such an accent he or she is hard to understand. Well written story, Sankey, and hope things work out okay. judi

Yeah Sis on the phone all our companies are either off shore through the Phillipines or if in Aus some foreign accent so hard to decipher! Groan! Poor Louise has to "interrupt" ie interpret for me we have the phone on Speaker so she can hear the other person and work out what they are saying and I answer the question then. Pray we can get resolution with the E-tag matter. I think now the Roads Minister's office has it should hear something soon. Something else I did no mentioned was re-arranging the rear of our car in the RMS Car park as well lousy parking.

You have been having your troubles. Hope you get your E-tag situation straightened out soon. judi

You have had a rough haul, Geoff. It was kind of difficult to follow since I don't understand the toll system there. We don't have it in California. The East coast has toll gates, but it's on a pay-as-you-go system.
The only thing I can mention, generally, is you slipped from the past to the present tense a couple of times.
As I said above we think the E-tag account [Paragraph spacing error.]
Hope you don't get hit with the back tolls.

Thanks Bro glad you enjoyed. Don't worry SA's turn is coming for toll roads ha. What always gets me is how smaller states get more Fed Governments help and all have terririfc roads where as NSW roads are shocking except for the toll roads of course.

Surviving in a digital world is getting more and more difficult and confusing. Not sure that it's ever going to get easier. I think not...Hope you both are staying safe during this pandemic.

E-toll here in my province is a hated word at the moment. The government instated an E-toll system on existing roads that form a major travel way around Johannesburg, on road that we already pay a fuel levy on to maintain. 80% of the millions of road users revolted and refuse to pay the toll. I am one of them. So, I can sympathize with your troubles. This is well written.

Thanks mate. We don't mind here we rather get better roads sooner and pay tolls than wait until the Government can afford it if ever. Appreciate your review and I understand.
