I enjoyed this immensely! I'm sure this message resonates soundly with many... sadly, I include myself in the many. But, hope springs eternal... even if rising to the behavioural conduct of angels is (slightly!) beyond reach!
Good luck in the contest with this wonderful entry!

I mean, there's always tomorrow. LOL I've gotten through the weight loss procrastination. Now I'm facing a 5k challenge I need to get in shape for. ...maybe I'll start tomorrow... LOL Love this poem - great work!

I can see the last words being: yes I will. But that will not happen. I love this because we have all made those new year promises and said tomorrow for sure. It never comes. Well done.

I love this, anon writer. This is my story of exercising tomorrow. But as time goes by, I am overwrought with other duties.
This is a real strong entry I believe. Just attempting one is quite the feat. But I love the form. It really makes one think and learn and get better as we try to achieve the easy flow. And yours worked so well. Spot on!

I really like this. I read it all the way through and felt guilty bcause my body is not trim and I have not much vim. lettuce leaves are not my style, I know at this you began to smile. But at the end I would love to see a stand alone line saying "I will, I will"

Tempting. However the ending is dictated by the rules of the form.
Thanks for reviewing.

Oh what a magnificent entry here. I really loved the Rondeau Redouble don't really know what that means. I loved the rhyming words with famous people like Dr. Phil and Bros Grimm. I really loved that very simple but effective art work you chose for your writing. Great job.

You must have made an invasion into my mind, I was just thinking...I know that has been on my mind for sometime, I haven't been to the gym for 12 months now, after going to gym on the previous 144 months, sigh... I think this the song of many. This work is excellently written, a poem filled with poignancy, and very expressive, inventive and perceptive work, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy.

Thanks, Roy. When looking for an appropriate artwork I did find one that said, 'I didn't go to the gym today - that's five years in a row...'

I really promise I'll go, I mean it this time!

To the author of 'Spring Refrain'. Me too! I'm going to exercise tomorrow. After all, I have the CD all laid out and ready to go. Ha. This is an amusing little ditty all toooo familiar with so many of us FanStorians.
"Isn't it nice to think...... reminded me of my favorite saying!
Anything can happen to me tomorrow, but at least nothing more can happen to me yesterday.

Tomorrow, the perfect day to start
For today, I'm way too tired
Maybe tomorrow I'll have the heart
If my brain ain't too wired
Well done with your entry, Buck
