Wow, Debra, this is so well done! I read the whole thing without realizing it was an entry for the tumbling words contest. It flowed beautifully and didn't seem restricted at all by the trickiness of this particular prompt. I entered this contest, too, and found it extremely challenging. Your poem made it look so easy. Very well written. Best of luck to you in the contest. :)

Hi Jenna :) Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging review and your good luck wishes... I appreciate both :) I've got to be honest, once I'd started trying to write something for this prompt, I wished I'd never bothered entering! It was so difficult to put together, took me days of fiddling about with it and my brain hurts now! Never again will I attempt anything this tricky LOL! Good luck to you in the contest also, I'll read and review the entries when the booth opens! Kindest regards as always, Debra :) x

I have never ever heard of an Oz Harte Tumbling Words, form of poetry. I will have to look at the guidelines. I do know your poem is bouncy, there is a touch of desperation in the way you want him to stay with you. Your love can't quite keep him with you. I like the poem a lot, regardless of the rules, you know me, never one for rules, just enjoy what I read. :) Good luck in the contest, Debra, it really is a lovely poem. xsx Sandra Just been and had a look at the rules, well, you certainly did yourself proud, it is perfect, I have checked your last and first words!! LOL, Brilliant, Debra. xxxx

Great to see you didn't give up and managed this very challenging contest, Debs.
You've managed to stick firmly within the rules, and you've created an excellent romantic poem that isn't obviously forced to meet them.
You also have an excellent rhyme scheme which must have been an extra challenge.
Nice one!
Good luck and best wishes, Ted.
