This is a lovely entry in this quatrain poetry contests. There is a lot of poems that are written in celebration of summer. This poem is replete with lots of great adjectives celebrating the season! What a lovely poem. I liked the descriptions in here. The vivid imagery was wonderful. I loved the line about the night closing in and the stars telling their story. That was a great line. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.
