Weeding My Head

Great timing on this poem
as we look out on our no longer snow covered gardens
and realize the detritus and weeds have accumulated
(much like the stray thoughts littering our mind)
If we hope to sow a good, healthy crop
first we must hoe and weed
then plant the seeds
for fruitful harvest! :-)

The kind of poem I like to read. All positive and the negative weeds out of the garden. Guess that why some people have such big head - all the weeds in there. lol. Loved your poem Now let the sun shine in. luv jada

Hi. I really like the imagery in this. It is a clever wee poem. I agree with you....Winter is over...all those thoughts tangled in my mind, I need to make space for new flowers...
Thanks for an uplifting poem. I needed it.

Thanks my friend. The book on meditation and some others things are helping me "weed" those negative thoughts out.

Dear Teresa - I thought this was wonderful and creative - plucking up all the weeds of thoughts to sow new seeds - fresh take on self improvement - nicely penned throughout.
Thanks for sharing it.

The photo fits the piece perfectly as the words bring the photo to life. Good description. Good alliteration with sow/seeds. Good end rhyming with head/instead. Good simile us with like a garden in need of weeding. Good thought provoking message that hold my attention from start to finish.
