How true this is! Faith transcends religion. This notion can be extended to include being spiritual, but not religious. God, or any other greater power, is in your heart.
Well done.

Why are we Masters of our Fate, the captains of our souls? Because we have the power to control our thoughts, our attitudes. That is why many people live in the withering negative world. That is why many people live in the Positive Faith world
Best of luck in the contest
Blessings, Rouskin

The bible says in Hebrews11:1 says " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" so you're right it can't be taught, or learnt, you either understand it or you don't! good entry in this contest. The poem is clever and the narrative is eloquent and clearly explicit! Good luck. Blessings, Roy

Comment from Dorothy Farrell
Short piece but very much to the point and the truth. It sounds like it may be a Japanese saying or Chinese - looking at the heading. It is so true that faith is far and above all religions - comes from within the being. Good luck in the contest. Regards Dorothy

Comment from Hollyhock
Very finely constructed example of this form. There is no forcing of grammar or misuse of parts of speech in order to comply with the syllable requirements, and the poem reads well and makes complete and logical sense. It also build the theme from the definition to the wider statement of faith at the end.
An enjoyable and thought-provoking read.

Very nice. I wonder what those symbols at the top mean...
It's remarkable how you kept the syllable count AND made the poem free of hiccups.
I generally stay away from poetry. Poets are fickle, and their choice of words-to-imagery can be condescending or even abusive to a reader - "Here's how I want you to read it, so Nyah!"
6 stars... and for a poem. I should be ashamed of myself.
