Dear Bill: My hats off to all Vets. My dad was one too,..WW11 RCAF. I just posted a medieval ballad entitled 'Coeurinere'. I also wrote a memorial poem for Nov 11. A Shakespearean Salute called 'Last Post'.

Great poem you have here! The thematic metaphor was precise and to the point. Also, the poem had an overall connotative essence about it that made my imagination wonder and proliferated many ideas about what your words could stand for. Good job with this one. I see why you won.

This one is very clever. I like the analagy to a strip show and the word play at the end with the double meaning of 'bare limbs'. This is presented in an attractive way, also. Good job!
