I like the way you use the dialect of Rabbit and of Virge. I like the description of the new baby as looking like a shriveled up frog. I loved the story of Curly Kale. I am enjoying this book. It's funny and fun to read.

Thank you Judy - I'm glad you're enjoying. There are four, or perhaps five more chapters. Regards, Bill

My grandparents' house - grandparents' - plural possessive
I love the description of his grandparents with their morning bathroom routine LOL
Great dialogue throughout during this emotional time
I love Virge's thoughts about God's critters, even including snakes, and you work the back story in well to explain Grandma's fear
Brooke :-)

Thank you Brooke - I'm always glad when you stop by and always glad for your willingness to help. I might learn to write some day. By the way, just found out that one of my stories will be in a "Chicken Soup" book in August. Yay ... even get paid for it! Lol Bill

Poor Grandma. It's good that Virge can find a use for the kingsnake. We had one get in the pool and didn't kill it either.
Your dialogue is so smooth, it's like listening in on a conversation. I love these 'Rabbit' chapters.
