Hello Author,
You chose some vibrant words for this poem. Lovely imagery! I read the contest rules, and I'm not sure this poem personifies winter, but I may be way off there.
song birds = songbirds
star light = starlight
This is one opinion--take or shake.

Hello. Very nice write here. I would have liked to have heard more from you. I really liked your first and second paragraphs. I didn't understand the last paragraph. "When my light sets, there is black velvet and star light above me. This part and the alabaster below me was difficult to imagine. Kind regards and cheers.
