Too bad that some people once they have been burned, never take the risk again and subsequently may end up alone for the rest of their lives. Nice to know that wasn't true here.I like your stark images in this and your last poem. The contrast of black and white gives your poem depth.

The layout makes the poem easy on the eye. And I particularly liked the very effective repetition in the last four lines.

This is a short and sweet love poem, which speaks volumes in few words. How great, to have loved and lost, and then find your soulmate. This poem is a lovely inspiration, to not give up on love. It speaks of a true appreciation for that someone special. Good luck.
