I'm sure you would have a lot of entries for this one, with many people being fans of horses. A great picture that could be used as the contest picture. Simple and uncomplicated instructions. The only thing I might suggest is whether or not this contest is prose, poetry, or either one. Are you going to try and sponsor a contest? Good luck in the contest. Linda

You were to the point and told what was expected and how many words were to be used. you explain who the writer had a choice of being serious or humoruos you did it all in a nutshell. this was a great job.

That's a great idea!
If you want more interesting answers you should move the limit to fifty or maybe ten words.

It's specific enough to fire the imagination but general enough to give breathing room. It could be more specific though...

This is an excellently written piece. I'd write a piece about horses. I recall my sister, Susanne, rode a horse bareback. The art work is fantastic. Is that one of your pencil art? I like the idea of a contest about horses. I wish you good luck in Sue's contest here. Nice day to you.
