Another terrific chapter! It certainly puts more pressure on James, he is putting off dealing with how his family will react. He has to realize the blame will fall on him not the real monster, his father. But, his mother and siblings are not strong enough to accept that a man they love could do all those horrible things. Its easier to blame the messenger, so to speak. It will be fascinating to hear if Alfina can accurately remember what happened all those years ago.

Yes, Alfina is facing a hard questioning. What she says is going to be very important. I am glad you liked this chapter.

Can't wait for the next one!

I'm working on it. I meant to tell you, I REALLY like the artwork you are using with your novella...I think that's what it's called.

A novella, sounds good to me:) thank you, there wasn't a lot to choose from.

me either! I've watched a couple of his works turned into movies, but I guess that doesn't count.

Thank you. This book has been revised from a previously unfinished version. I am pleased that even though you have not read previous chapters, that you liked this one.

Interesting premise with the gifted teen, with an eidetic memory no less. Lots of possibilities here. The dialogue seems natural, and it's generally well written.

I have had a serious headache for two days and am amazed I actually finished this chapter today. James is an amazing kid with an equally amazing sense of right and wrong. I am pleased you liked this chapter.
