Now your giving us homework? But I guess I'll be googling those terms.
The reader feels for James, for all his knowledge and education, he still is open to all the human emotions of destroying his own family. He knows he will bare part of the blame, instead of where it belongs, on his father.

Must be a horror to absolutely know your father is a killer. Love the writing and hoe much this sounded realistic. I had to go back and look twice to make sure it is fiction. Of course with our fathers, it made me more suspicious. Irene

Sadly, there are many families that have experienced this.

HI! Smurphgirl, so,now that we are sat on the edge of our seat, we have to cool down and wait for another episode to find out just what happens when he opens the darn door! Don't let it be too long, Please! The suspense is getting to me, but please, don't let him trip and put himself into intensive care, so that we are kept waiting, even longer! wiljacro.

This sounds like a good book. It is well written and pulls the reader in with a strong character and a great hook.

I'm off to read the next chapter. Great job!

The fun part about writing a book, is th ????????????????????
I think this you just need to delete from the beginning of the piece since it's at the bottom of the piece. Good thus far...I'm on this journey and await the next piece. God bless.
