hello Poet,
this is a cute 5/7/5 write! Many writers do, in a sense, are married to their work, the words.
one question:
why is there a comma after 'if'? It doesn't seem necessary to me :) If you want the emphasis, maybe caps instead? I do like the ellipsis giving the pause, instead of just rushing through..
Cool 'word' picture :)
Nice touch of alliteration.
Yes, I got a chuckle - this is a fun write.

Thanks for the great review, Jen. Yes ..some writers are married to their work/words. Appreciate all your comments. I agree - the comma isn't really necessary, so ... I eliminated it.

which is where I think I found a gif called 'walking words' that I used for a poem.

I love your artwork and you have a good flow with your poem-you are descriptive and write about writer's can end up marrying their words--I like where you write(if, they're not careful) a well penned poem-great job.

hmmm, if you marry those words, you will be in the lap of luxury for the rest of your life, and so will your little 'wordlet' kids ...;0)
