Such a sad, emotionally charged poem, written with a great amount of talent.
"Someday we'll be together
Retiring with the Son"
There couldn't be a more beautiful, fulfilling way to end this poem. Before saying; "God is our certain future"-This poem overwhelms me! Sorry I don't have six stars left. I truly love this poem...katz meow

Receiving a diagnosis of the big C is devastating. I nursed my father with this disease and I know how helpless you feel in its grip. You wrote with great honesty and sincerity. Your faith will carry you and His hands are there to help you through all you face. I send you my prayers. x moyramouse

You have my profound sympathy for what you are going through. I have watched this happen with someone I loved (and love yet) dearly. I'm glad you count on God's comfort, for I know how profound that can be. My best to you, Jeanie Mercer

This is so sad but also, so hopeful. Sad that you may be losing your life's partner, but hopeful that God will answer prayer and that you will have the strength to deal with His decision. It is beautiful that you have Faith to sustain you both.

I certainly felt your emotions expressed here. I felt the rhyme was a bit forced at times, as:
So now we pray for healing
Knowing God can do just that
We live each day believing
His will is never flat
The "that"/"flat" rhyme didn't do your work justice. I don't think most people feel God's will can be "flat".
