long may you and Harley cross paths, a delightful story recounted through the poetic verse, you are so gifted, As a tall man once wrote: "A very merry Christmas And a happy New Year Let's hope it's a good one Without any fear!" all the best for 2011....

Such a cute little face. I can understand how it would be hard to be upset with him for doing what comes so naturally - chewing to test his teeth. Have fun with him. Ray aka Krylon

Oh, Patty:

there is nothing like a puppy in the house
only thing crazier will be your spouse
but the puppy will love you unconditionally
for he will love whatever you happen to be
on the best and worst of any of your days
Harley will always put his love on display
So even when he growns into a full-grown dog
He'll pounce right on you like a little leap frog

I just loved your poem and picture about Harley
thanks for sharing
love,
jan

I'm not a dog lover but I can see your love for Harley loud and clear between the lines. These lines resemble the feeling a mother has for her child, no matter how old he/she is:

A full-grown dog
Fast asleep like a little log

Delightful!

Patty, I know you are enjoying Harley. Puppies are so sweet
and fill our lives with so much fun and love. I'm glad you're
treasuring the moments. That's how we should do with our
children, too. Treasure each moment. Yes, by all means enjoy his puppy days. Happy New Years!!

Like this, it is simple as it should be due to the subject matter-a new puppy. I can hear the excitement and newness in your words. I hope he turns into a great new friend. Good Luck!

Thank you for reading and the generous review. I'm sorry to hear about Domino - losing a pet is awful. It took me ten years to get another dog after I lost my last one - I pray Harley and I live out the rest of our days together. Happy New Year and may all of life's blessings come to you. ~patty~

Nicely done. Puppies are wonderful handfuls of responsibilities. I and my wife are "dog people". Just lost one two months ago. They're like our children.

Happy New Year with Harley.

Thank you for reading and the generous review. I'm sorry to hear about your dog - they become so much a 'part' of you that it is awful to lose a family member like that. Happy New Year to you, too! ~patty~
