Mystery Poet, this poem is about empty promises? Couldn't see it, couldn't feel it... couldn't understand it..... oops, there I go again, Darn, I promised never to lie in a review again.... lol..... I must tell you, n all truthfullness, you did an awesome job and I loved it. So, how true... oh, the little white lies we tell through life. Good entry for the contest. Good luck!

Good luck in the Micro Fiction contest entry.
I like the way this story unfolds to reveal a fiv-year-old boy making an empty (although sincere) promise to his mommy. Well done.
