Another very well-written, interesting and enjoyable write from you, Carol. How appropriate the baby would be called 'Summer'. Lamont will be so pleased to hear about the birth of his child. Love the section where Tania visits the grave of her grandmother- -those days- -longing they were here again. thank you so much.
Excellent format, love the bold font which makes for an easy read. Story line is followed so well and makes this an enjoyable read. thanks you. I didn't spy anything awry.

This is lovely. Beautiful strong, vivid descriptions that provide marvelous imagery for the reader. I like the gentle nature of the story. Hard times yet filled with moments of pleasant conversations and kindness between the characters. I am not one to look for or find spags so I won't even mentions them other than as far as I can tell, I didn't see any. Very nice work with this one. I enjoyed this very much.

Hi Carol again, A nice story. I was a little worried the pains were going to kill her so a nice twist at the end.
A couple of things to look at:
With first light, Tania had(delete had) gathered
(something's missing)She nibbled at the tuna sandwich, but soon replaced (it?) in her basket.

This is a nice story. It sounds as though there is an family like relationship between the Creightons and their farm help. This story certainly brings out the summer theme. I could almost feel the heat. I have a granddaughter named Summer. She was born in July.

I thought Summer was a beautiful name (like your granddaughter) and fit the theme of the story. Glad you like the story. Thanks for the kind review. CArol

Two summers in this one, and they're both beautiful. Your beautiful descriptions brought me back to my youth when summer meant something.

Too beautiful for words.
She enjoyed the solitude of morning, (This was my favorite time of the morning. I would walk my black and my yellow labs and watch the sun rise. It was so peaceful.

I too prefer morning above any other time of day. Sitting by the waterfall or the river and just enjoying the quiet peaceful solitude. I am blown away that you enjoyed this story so much and blessed me with your stars. Thank you so so much. Carol

This is a beautiful story. I felt like I was reading a modern version of "gone with the wind". That really is a compliment because that is my favorite movie. This was just a 'feel good ' story and I loved it. Thank you. Shirley

Hey girl, I've seen Gone With The Wind in six different cities..just because I loved Rhett Butler and Scarlett. I certainly will take it as a compliment. Thank you so much. Carol

You have painted a beautiful and serene picture of Tania's surroundings and her work at the Creighthon's. I can also feel the heat and the upset stomach. And you are such a good writer to hide the fact that Tania is pregnant and will soon bear a baby! Good read (welcome to 'Summer').
