Kaye, I'm sorry to hear that happened to you, and that it still haunts. But I'm very glad you've discovered your writing, and a family on FS. This really is more a community than just a reviewing site, and I know it means a lot more to me than just critiques.
If you want something to make you laugh ... take a look at the "isn't this interesting" thread in the General forum. It's full of Kiwi jokes! ;)

Sorry to hear you lost your leg and that your body gives trouble - but now you have found your 'writer's feet" that can take you on journeys of the imagination as well as daily trips through cyber space - where lots of friends are there to smile at you across seas and continents.
Fanstory can certainly be a cure for loneliness. A solace, a refuge - and an outlet. Whether people are depressed and lonely, or just creatively motivated and eager to communicate- this is a great place for all kinds of support and sharing.

I'm sorry that it's bad and sad for you , that old blue feeling is not comforting, but the fact that you have taken that blue day and used it to say thanks to these amazing bunch of people is just so typically you.
