Hello my friend,
Yes I must admit that France is a beautiful country. I spent sometime there and enjoyed the history. Beautiful tribute to Paris my friend... Dreamdancer

Dreamdance, I love history, also. One of the biggest reasons I travel. And Paris (as well as France) is, of course, steeped in it. Thanks so much for your review. So glad you enjoyed it. (Have you ever been to Rome?) ....Cheers, Sue

a wonderful depiction of all the great landmakrs of paris. Written very lovingly it seems that you hold this place very close to you. i saw that you said you dont know much french but a reader would never tell, the snippets of french fit in very well and give it some authenticity. well done

Hi, Sue
Because it's not metered many of the clever rhyme structure was missed by me. However non-meter can often be more effective and real, IMHO. You've created vivid images from your special memories and I thoroughly enjoyed the read. Best wishes, Ray xx

Yeah, I was there once in an October. Not as cold as November, I'm sure. Thanks very much for your review! Sue

With airline tickets soaring these days... this is about the best way to travel and about the only way I can afford!
You really did take me on a trip through Paris with such great visuals, I felt as though I was on a tour bus... thank you!

C'est belle, mon amie. I love it. Paris is indeed a wonderful city and your love for it shines through in this poem. Your rhyme and rhythm are great and your imagery makes us want to walk the parisien streets with you.

Warm regards.

Sue, I have never been to Paris, but your poem took me there. Oh, how I adore the scenery you painted.

Your words make me want to hop on a plane and enjoy the scenes that you creatively and vividly described.

Excellent poem!

Your poem certainly brought back memories of my trips to Paris with my husband. I remember taken the dinner boat in the Seine river and standing for an hour in the rain waiting to enter the museum. It was worth it. I love Paris, my husband passed away but the memories will remain.

Your poem is beautiful, I saw nothing I would change.
It was a pleasure to read it.

Bryana, I didn't get the chance to go on the dinner boat. Next trip, I must do that. But, loved standing on Pont Neuf overlooking the Seine and watching them all go by. What a beautiful scene it is. Thank you for sharing your memories with your husband there. Treasured memories, I'm sure. Thank you for your very kind review and lovely compliments. Regards, Sue
