Is there anything more amazing and sweet in this world than the innocence of a child? I think not. Too bad life changes them as they age.
Thanks for sharing!

A complicated set of rules that you handled so well. Your puffed pride is evident throughout the poem, as is your gentle mothering. We have only one son but also enjoy his "kindness to humanity"--an apt description. You also chose a good picture and colors to accompany your poem.

What an interesting contest. Great job with this poem. Even if not having a contest for it, this poem is a wonderful tribute to your children. I hope they all get a chance to read it. Good luck in the contest.

What a wonderful way to say "I Love You!" to your children.
It sounds like an ideal family, I hope that it truly is yours.
Well done, perfect in every way!

I loved the art work and your wonderful words written.Yes it is wonderful to see our children growing with love and wisdom. Seeing our children, showing kindness and learning not to become selfish and smile, at those they see and meet. A smile can give such a glow and good feeling towards others.

Honeytree, I am so happy that you read the words of a proud mother. What would we do without them? And knowing all our hard work paid off is the best reward in this world! Your most generous review goes straight to my heart. I am honored that you felt it deserved such a high regard. And I thank you for it. With warmest regards, Sue

"Hey Kids, You're the Best!" is well done. A challenging poem to put together, but made to look easy here. Perfect rhythm, perfect rhyming, reads smooth and captivated me from beginning to end. Well done.

This sure looks like a worthy contest entry to me. It's nice that you write in this way about your children and I wish you well in the contest.

great meter and rhyming couplets - you seem to have followed this brand new form to me perfectly with a new character trait explored in each line - and while doing all of that you've made your children sound absolutely wonderful!!

Good for you. This was far from an easy challenge that Kaff has offered up, and you wrote a beauty of a piece without a hitch! very well done Sue!
