I think it's a great idea to write four syllabals for each line. I can write eight but when it comes to ten for a sonnet, I'm lost. Great piece, and you're lucky to have a good man by your side to lift you up when the going gets tough.

Excellent poem about a subject many of us can relate, we all face fears that we should conquer, and easy is not...
Great style , images and strong message.
Hallowed is that ground!

Maybe you should consider categorising this as 'spiritual poetry' as it's excellent within that form. Original, too, considering most on this subject and love has been said many times. Excellent write. Best wishes, Ray xx

This too is wonderful. Though it's short I think it made a lot of sense and it felt richer that way. I know it might be to early to say this about your work but you strike as a unique writer. Well we will see with your other post but as for those two, you did really well.

Was drawn in by the title, but found it a challenging read. Had to think it through to get the message and a good, strong message it was. Facing one's fears will encourage others to do the same. Paving the way, if you will for a fearless future. Enjoyed.
